European dimension in a education of infant school

ANNOTATION European Dimension in Education in Nursery Schools European dimension in education, as a means of education in European citizenship promoting European integration, is an integral part of the education at elementary schools, secondary schools, and of course at universities. The aim of this bachelor work is to find out if (and possibly how) European dimensions can be projected into the basic education, i.e. the education of the youngest children in nursery schools. That is why the framework of this work is divided into three fundamental units: The first part introduces and explains the term itself together with its history, present time, and context, in both European and domestic circumstances. The second part is a survey mapping the range of the European dimension in education in Czech nursery schools. The third part, in my opinion the most substantial one, proposes a project that would enrich the education in nursery schools with the European dimension by using such conceptions and such a way so that this dimension can be comprehensible also to the youngest group of learners.
